Lighting, anyone?

I've been saving hard for the past two years and will be able to get all my downstairs decorated in the new year - yay me! To keep things simple I'm going for F&B Wimborne White throughout with oak flooring, which will nicely complement the furniture I already have (and can't replace) but I'm having real difficulty deciding on lighting. HmmConfused

I need ceiling lights and wall lights (preferably matching) and tend toward 'modern-traditional' but some of the 'industrial' style lighting they use on the tv home improvement shows look stunning and I think I might like to try that but can't find anything that doesn't cost the earth.

Help, anyone?

I prefer ceiling lights. It's central lighting and a lot of point

We had our house rewired and took the opportunity to add in plenty of 'layered' lighting. My favourite addition was this one from Pooky - the double version . It was the most expensive light fitting we bought but it's great and good quality

@TiddleTaddleTat I've just seen a wall light at Pooky that I really like - www.pooky.com/wall-lights/perforated-stanley-in-brass-with-rose-wall-light-fitting-in-antiqued-silver#conf.12=159245&conf.13=1616 so many thanks for the link! Now browsing ceiling lights and floor/table lamps Grin

BHS still sell lightning online. Have a look at their website.

Thanks @Mosaic123. I did look but didn't see anything I liked.
I have however found lighting I like on Dunelm's site - and for quite a bit cheaper Grin
