Help - 'Cool' Mattress Topper

We bought a new mattress a few months ago, my husband loves it but I find it a bit firm. I go to bed and sleep find, but wake up a bit achey and stiff.

I bought this M&S topper, but it got hot over the summer so I had to remove it. I've tried it again, and still find it warm, even in November!

It's basically synthetic, so doesn't go very well with the duck down/feather duvet we have, plus the mattress has lots of nice natural fibres in it.

Could anyone recommend a mattress topper to me that may be 'cooler' in feel? Obviously nothing like memory foam. Not sure if natural is the way to go, or a silk covered topper?

Fed up of feeling achey so advice really appreciated!
