Feature wallpaper - talk to me

Our living room has been a lovely yellow for about 8 years (before yellow became popular Blush) and we now feel we're due for a change.

The room itself has lots of windows onto the garden but is north facing so can get quite gloomy. We've also knocked through to make an L shaped kitchen diner with light grey units.

I'm thinking of painting the whole thing Jasmine White, and then having wallpaper on one of the walls. We already have a grey sofa.

Is that still a thing or will it look naff already. I'm looking at some papers from missprint
Either one of these.

What do you think.

Sorry but feature walls in general are really naff, more so when papered.

I like a bit of wallpaper on a wall. George Clarke, my hero, did a feature wall in s lovely house in Liverpool the other week.

Wallpaper is ace, it’s v expensive to do a whole room, if it’ll make you feel happy, go for it.

I think our decorator would weep if we did the whole room as there are a lot of awkward bits, recessed windows etc

This would just be one flat wall with a doorway.

I think it could look good and I like those prints. Generally I'm not a fan of feature wallpaper walls though. Did a couple in our previous place and felt that the look dated quite quickly so I regretted it.
There are other ways to add interest - art prints, textiles on the walls, a bold paint colour throughout.
To me feature walls are a bit half-hearted and it's often better to push and go a bit outside your comfort zone, but that's just my experience.
