Hi! Having been using the last owner’s second hand bed since we moved in we are finally going to buy a new bed :D I know the style I want, king with a nice upholstered tufted headboard in grey and ideally I want feet! (Like the image but in grey) but no idea where to get it from. Wayfair have tonnes and not too expensive but I’m worried it’s a bit style over substance and it won’t last/be comfy?
Are we better off buying a nice headboard (maybe even making it following a tutorial haha) and then buying the bed frame separately? I did look into this and couldn’t find the right type of bed base without headboard! Do anyone who’s done that I’d appreciate some advice :D
We’ve already bought a simba hybrid mattress for £560 so just need something good enough to support that.
I’d normally go for low-mid end John Lewis for quality/customer service but they just don’t have the style /colour we want :(
So basically anyone bought a good quality upholstered bed that they can recommend? I’m also quite keen on saving money where I can, as we still have most rooms in the house to furnish!

I really rate Button and Sprung for beds

Online shop and loads of choice and you pick which style/fabric for headboard, excellent service too

I was coming on to recommend Button and Sprung as well. I have a mattress from them which has been good and they have a good range of beds at reasonable prices.
