Mould behind shower sealant

We have a tiny en suite with a shower cubicle in it. The sealant around the bottom was starting to come away from the base, so I removed it all to find black mould behind it.
So I sprayed with mould spray/cleaner and gave it a good scrub. I left it 3 days to dry out properly before re-sealing it. I (mistakenly) bought transparent stuff, which has turned out to be a good thing as I can see mould starting again behind it. I only sealed it a month or so ago.
SO, any suggestions? Could the mould be from the last time and I just hadn't managed to get rid of it?
Or is it my bigger fear, that there's clearly water getting in somewhere?
Or could there be mould behind the tiles 😭
The whole en suite was only fitted 15 months ago.

Did you use the mould/mildew spray that actually kills the spores rather than temporarily keeping it at bay with strong bleaching agents?If not the one and only product in my humble opinion is the HG brand,it is amazing!!Just do what you did before but re-seal with white,this gives a much earlier indication of it re-appearing,If it does,(which it probably will in time)just keep using the HG spray to keep it white!!Hope this helps!!

Also meant to add if it's only 15 months old, whoever supplied the sealant either did a really poor job or used cheap silicone,it always gets found out in the end!!

Does anyone know of a product that does the job and isn't harmful to the environment ?

Soak toilet paper in neat bleach & push into the sealant, leave over night. It’s magic, in the morning the mould disappears.

Thanks for the replies. The problem is that if i redo it in white sealant then I won't see the mould as it's behind the sealant, not on the top. The only reason I know it's there just now is because I can see it.
I've messaged the original fitter to ask for advice, but he's swerved giving me a proper answer so far 🙄. Yep I think I'll need to remove it and buy a mould killer before re-sealing it to try again. I'm praying that it's only returned because it wasn't killed properly in the first place. The thought of it being water ingress affecting the wall behind the tiles is already too much for me to think about 🙈🙈

Going the mould is behind the sealant, not around or on it - so I don't think that idea would work. Ie I can see the mould through the translucent sealant x

Most fitters will dodge doing a small time consuming snagging job believe me!!Unfortunately in damp areas especially in showers you are always going to get some kind of mould issue in time.I know the mould penetrates from behind but the product I recommended in my first post really does work believe me,bleach alone does not,good luck with whatever you do with it

Spanish The mould will disappear when it’s behind the sealant. I don’t know why it works but it does. Try it.

And that's with the HG spray? So if I spray it and leave it, the mould behind the sealant will be killed?
I'm off to Google it now, it sounds like a dream come true 💖

It kills it off but as I said it's not permanent,if only!!You just re apply at the first sign of it returning,good luck!

Yeah that's fine, if u can avoid pulling all the sealant off each time it gets mould behind it, that's the main thing. Thanks so much x
