Our house is fairly modern however we have no pictures and I love botanical prints. Agree maybe not the living/dining room but toilet and maybe kitchen??
Dp says it’s very old people ish??
I know they were popular in our grannies age but still I love them!!

Yes I like them! If your house is very contemporary in style try mounting them on a very dark grey or black thick mount and a really bright frame like a red, yellow, orange or bright green

I have a few. Some mushroom studies in the downstairs cloak room and a few others dotted around.

Thanks all. Surfnturf great idea the grey colour might work well. Our house isn’t that contemporary at all maybe in dp’s head Grin

In the good wife ( if you have ever watched it) the whole back wall of Alicia's dining room is covered in framed botanical prints and I've always loved it. Not old lady at all.

Imho botanical prints are very stylish, also like Rennie Mackintosh plant and flower prints if you've seen those?

I love botanical prints and paintings, I also love plants, so think you should go for it.if you want something a little more modern I would definitely recommend the following artists.

Ive brought some lovely prints from Nina and now thinking I want her moon prints too!

Yes I would. The thing I like about then is that they can either look quite masculine or very feminine depending on the subject of the picture and the choice of frame iyswim. I also think they can look great in a very contemporary setting or to break up a strong paint colour or large wall when grouped together as they can soften it by being more 'natural'.
