Big refurbishment starting this summer and I feel underprepared. I’d like to source the flooring in new kitchen diner as then I think other choices like worktops will be narrowed down and easier to deal with. House is about 100 years old, straightforward granite farmhouse. Would like to put flagstones down but underfloor heating is going in so we can’t do salvage flags as makes levelling so tricky. Anyone had any joy with these tumbled edge type flags that look older but are actually modern? Would want a mid to dark grey as that’s what is outside. Don’t live near a big city so our showrooms are limited and I will probably be buying on line. Any tips on good suppliers would be welcome
