Kitchen floor advice/opinions please..(pic)

Hello, due to have some changes made to my kitchen. The units are dark wood and we had them painted in dulux heritage York white. I'm planning to change the handles for something more traditional and want to replace the black worktops with pale-ish wood effect. I need advice please on flooring and tiling walls..I quite fancy the idea of a patterned floor or maybe wood effect floor tiles. I think the wall tiles will be white metro tiles with light beige/ grey grout. Any opinions/ advuce/ pics appreciated!

I think the idea of a patterned floor + simple metro tiles on the wall sounds great.

No real suggestions but googling around it seems that the Period Property Store has a nice range of cement encaustic tiles.

Backsplash- white metro tiles
Floor- some sort of rustic or antique wooden flooring or terracotta tiles

Thank you both, really fancy the idea of patterned floor tiles and keeping the wall tiles really plain metro with grey or beige grout.
