Please help me choose a paint colour

We are giving our kitchen a servere revamp.
New ceiling lights (we had spot lights), new flooring (underfloor heating going down) and new cupboard doors etc.
The island will now be anthracite and the other units white gloss. There will be a large burnt orange piece of glass behind the hob.
I’m after wall colour ideas please. We know we want plain but there are about a hundred different ‘whites’ out there.
I need help please as I don’t have a designery or visionary bone in my body. Confused
TIA

What colour are your worktops?

They are going to be a light colour but I’m not sure exactly what yet. Please feel free to choose for me Smile
Seriously, I’m not good at this at all.

Lol... a dove grey worktop would look lovely I think... wall colour also a light grey this would help your splashback to stand out... are you getting tiles ?

Get a soft blue/grey. That would go well with the orange

Thanks for the replies
We planned on having grey floor tiles, large ones, so would grey on the walls not be too much grey?

If it was a light grey I don’t think it would be too much. You
can get tester pots

thanks
I'll pick up more tester pots today. I'm quite enjoying painting the paper squares (does that make me a saddo?)

For paint I have to reccomended farrow and ball.
I don’t use anything else, their paints are such glorious colours and because of the pigments they use they have colours that are different to anybody else’s.
Once painted the walls look different during different times of the day due to the light.
The colours shown on their website are - by their own volition- not great matches to the real colours. Request a colour chart.
I didn’t realise how much difference a good quality paint can make to a room.
