Where do you get handmade, soft, roman blinds????

I am desperately trying to find a company that will make me blinds like this

I can't find ANY local firms- 4 have not answered my call, one came round and just tried to sell me what he already has, and I'm not confident that John Lewis could do it either (have ordered swatches butI I'm not near a JL and I don't necessarily want to buy fabric from them).

I livein London! It shouldn't be this hard? I also need 3 more blinds and some curtains so it's a big job for someone ... but I can't find anyone to do it!

I have asked on the local FB site, have asked my friends and neighbours, and have posted on the local news site as well. But no luck.

So now I am resorting to the magic of mumsnet -does anyone know how I can make this happen?

Try Ciara McGarrity at Waffle designs. //www.waffledesign.co.uk/about-story/ She is a really lovely lady and she will do the most beautiful job for you. She's just really normal and straightforward and will have lots of good tips. I always recommend her because she takes such pride in her work. I had blinds similar to those made for me by her and I always get compliments on them. I also like using her because she's a one (wo)man band who is thriving because of the quality of her work.
