Concrete Worktop suppliers?

Hello - I'm looking for recommendations on a Concrete worktop supplier and fitter - replacing a large island with sink and sides and not having much luck with finding a reliable supplier! Thank you!

Not sure that there are actual 'concrete' work top suppliers. You will have to google for specialised worktop makers, which unless you live in or near one of the big cities will be difficult. Have a look on Houzz.co.uk. You might have more luck on there

I think mostly people cast the themselves. There are various tutorials online. Would take a bit of work but materials would be pretty cheap just takes quite a bit of labour. Nice thing is you can make pretty much any shape you like.

Lots of concrete worktop specialists out there.

They come and template the area required, then they form and polish it on their workshop and bring back to install once done

My finace and I had a few quotes last year as this was the look we were going for but subsequently changed our minds. What we were told was that for genuine concrete it would need to done on site with a mould made and once in would be very difficult to change in the future due to the weight. However there was a much cheaper alternative that one company offered where it gave exactly the same look and feel, but was applied onto any thickness substrate. What we like about that was it was future proof if we gre tired and wanted a change as us women like to do! I can dig out their details if you like?
