Is it just me or is anyone else getting a bit fed up with grey, On TV its utterly boring to just keep seeing grey on all the dramas. Hmmm lets hope some other colour comes back into fashion.

We were shopping for soft furnishings the other day and there wasn't much grey so maybe it's on the way out now.

Reading the interior design magazine and blogs the colour of 2017/2018 will be light dusty pinks.

Light turquoises and muted navy.

Less about strong colours ans more about accents that go so well with the grey everyone has loved for the past 10 years.

Grey isn't on its way out, just needs to be the right grey and with the right accent colours.

2016 saw people living grey with strong blues and mustard yellows which is now on its way out

I work in a paint shop and I'm sick of hearing "farrow and ball cornforth white please" I'm sure every house within a 100 mile radius is done up with it

I quite like grey, but anywhere that I've used it it has been a greyed colour rather than just grey. I'm not keen on some rooms I've been seeing in magazines where it's all grey-scale, as though it's a black and white photo. I think grey is ok for a background colour but there needs to be something vibrant about a room too.

I'm building a new house soon and I think I'll be going for a Mid-century Modern vibe. So there will probably be some grey in the furniture rather than on the walls, and I'll use colours from the palette in the photo, possibly with mustard instead of the pinks, and have some rooms with mostly white on the walls (definitely not magnolia). I think I'll be painting the outside a dark colour, I can't decide between graphite grey or marine blue.
