?corded curtain rails

Considering getting these for DC's rooms (both have v high window frames so will be grown up before they can open curtains themselves!).

Aware of safety & would be securing the cord/chain appropriately, but wondering what brand/make/type to look for as seems v limited selection in store in many places.

Also, are there any alternatives worth considering (curtain thread wise - we're not about to spend £££ on shutters or similar).
