Finally decorating the baby's room. Have a nice chest of drawers to put in there. Don't want him opening the drawers and getting his little fingers stuck, so i bought a pack of plastic safety catch thingummies. But they stick firmly on the outside with gluey pads, will these come off ok years later without leaving marks and /or taking the varnish off? Anyone know?

Don't know about the catches but is the chest of drawers secured to the wall?

It's as deep as it is tall, so can't be tipped over. Part of a cabin bed that'll be lovely when he's a bit older :)

I stand corrected. We were in there messing about yesterday, he was playing with the drawers, and he managed to pull the bloody thing away from the wall and tip it slightly. I will now attach it to the wall.
