Looking for colour inspiration to paint my kitchen cupboards. My floors look like these but a bit more orange (could be quality of light).

I want the orange to recede but not sure what colour I should be painting to achieve this.

What colour are your walls, and do you want to keep them that colour?

Anything that's not vibrant- olive greens, greys, blues, cold dark browns with ash base.

Walls are currently magnolia - may need to re-tile or at least put in some sort of backsplash behind hob so will need to coordinate

Magnolia is supposed to be neutral but it has warm tones so it brings out the orange notes in your floor. Tiles or paint? You ssid you might need to re-tile. Im guessing tiles. I would re-tile if I were you, can't win agsinst magnolia. It's not thst expensive, wall tiles are for effect unlike floor when you you want good quality to make it last.
Also - you might consider stainless still splash screen behind hob. Silvery grey would look great with the grey/green/ cold brown pallette. Dont know how big your kitchen is, if small I'd stay with lighter shades. Could play with a couple of them too rather than sticking to one shade/color.

I'd go for a sage greeny grey.

Been looking at Pinterest and blogs for inspiration. Quite like the look of F&B Hardwick White or London Stone for cupboards.

Kitchen is west facing - anyone used these colours?

No idea yet but was thinking either some sort of black / grey mottled type granite or wood effect (I think real wood would require too much maintenance)

Can't think of a specific colour to suggest, but I'd avoid white or cream as the walls are magnolia.

We have hardwick white kitchen units....it's lovely but is a very changeable colour - sometimes the units on opposite sides of the kitchen look completely different colours, depending on the light. I would imagine in a west facing room the colour will look warmer than in our north/west facing room.
