Pink bedroom for a 5 year old - help!

We are going to redecorate DD's room for her 5th birthday as its not been done since she was a baby and she's drawn all over the walls! She says she wants pink walls (I think I can get away with Dulux Blossom White so only a hint of pink) and a butterfly theme. I've found this light shade in Laura Ashley (have tried to attach a picture) but I'm struggling to find curtains, bedding etc that isn't either violently pink or pastels, which I quite like but seem a bit muted somehow for a 5 year old. Has anyone done a pink-themed bedroom that I can steal ideas from?!

what about something like this from dunelm. It has matching curtains too. It might be a bit violently pink for you though!
I am doing a pink bedroom for my daughter at the moment, but got these curtains to dilute the pink with other colours

A selection of pink curtains in Next. As blackout curtains they are pretty good.

She has bedding already so the colours in the curtains will mix and match with everything really. I have bought this set from debenhams though because I like the rainbows here
Walls will be blossom white too like you Grin

My 9 year old dd has Blossom White walls with one wall in Cath Kidston's Birds & Roses paper in the duck egg blue. Her curtains are a dusky pink but look sort of a mauve colour against the pale pink walls. I've attached some pics.

My youngest dd aged 4 has apple white walls with a wall in the Laura Ashley Bella Butterfly paper and has the curtains and bedding which I think match the light shade you linked. The curtains aren't lined but I put a blackout roller blind up.

My DD picked the paint's herself - two walls neon pink and two pastel pink. Totally not my cup of tea but it works for her.

Cushions, bedding, throws, dangly butterflies, canvasses, rugs are all easy to come by. The plus side of letting her have her way design wise is that she keeps it immaculate - everything in its place.

My DD's room is pale pink walls, with lots of white and soft greens like pps have described. Then I found lots of different fabrics with different prints, but the same colour scheme. Her curtains are the Laura Ashley Bella Butterfly with a pale green blackout blind.

There are lots of gorgeous butterfly and dragonfly wall stickers available (try etsy) which you could add a smattering of to her wall, without it feeling too much.

Belle and Boo duvet cover? Hint of pink in it, they do lovely wall stickers and cushions too.
