i need a single sofa bed for a box room i need to fit in a small cot too.

What sort of sofa bed would be comfy straight after having baby, ill be in that room ateast 2-3 months until baby in routine. The cheaper the better.

The most conpact are the fold out foam types that teens use but we have huge spiders in this house not ideal but if forced to due to budget i will.

or the day bed types, look nice as sofa butmore bulky?

Single low futon but again spiders lol theyre big no matter how i clean they return

ideally somethinh with arms for resting baby when feeding. If notno worries ill ealk avross to livibg room on same floor anyway

Those foam cube things are hellishly uncomfortable. Get a metal framed one such as an IKEA Lycksele. I don't know your circumstances, but if are going to be getting up in the night and feeding, why not have baby with you in the main bedroom (if there is one) and have a decent single bed, whether fold away one or whatever in what will be baby's room eventually?

There is a main bedroom wowfudge next to box room downstairs other rooms upstairs weird for me. i know a newborn wont be settled in routine for a few weeks to a few months. Husband gets up 5.45 light sleeper and complains so im trying to be nice even though ill be lackinh sleep myself.

so im thinking cot or crib and single bed of somesort in.box room downstairs. Gosh i missmy other house set up:(

I think.baby will eventually be upstairs with sisters their room is spacious maybe 2.5 yrs old. The box room downstairs is meant to be a gym but im moving stuff out just for the bab to settle.

Ty for the suggestion i did have an inkling cube bed may not be comfy. Ill look up the ikea one you suggested :)

Try looking at sofacrazy.co.uk
I got my sofa from there it wasn't a sofa bed but I know they do some because we looked into getting one in the conservatory

OP - the IKEA chair bed (single bed when unfolded) - has a choice of three mattresses so get the best one if you are going to be sleeping on it regularly. I bought ours on EBay. If you search for chair beds there are often some bargains to be had.
