My bathroom floor again! Anyone used Harvey Maria vinyl tiles? Or got an opinion on a black and white floor?

Sorry for yet another thread on this. Finally pretty much decided on a black and white checked floorin our bathroom . I have some samples.

The Harvey Maria tiles are about 40 pounds a square metre, quite hard, solid colour, obviously really strong.

There is also a checkerboard cushioned vinyl on a roll that seems really soft and warm and is 6.99 a metre! Seems pretty hardwearing.

Is this a no brainer or do you get what you pay for,
The only other thing is that on the cheaper one the white bits of it aren't really white, more off white. There will be white tiles in some places down to the floor. Would this annoy the hell out of you or will I never really notice? There will be lots of colour and other craziness going on tbh. ..

Help!

I wouldn't put off white next to white. I tiled my bathroom floor black and you can see every piece of fluff/talcum powder/speck of toothpaste and they annoy me by looking dirty as soon as you've mopped them. If you use vinyl you could change it lots for the same price as the tiles so I guess it's swings and roundabouts....

The Harvey Maria definitely looks the best. Just could really do with someone posting 'I've got it. It's great,' or something!

We laid Harvey Maria flooring in our bathroom many moons ago. It was gorgeous! Really lovely and warm underfoot. We laid it ourselves, it was a bit fiddly joining up the tiles but totally doable (I remember my thighs ached like buggery the next day Grin ) Perhaps less doable in a bigger space.

We went for this one (it was a LONG time ago but actually I still love it) but your chequerboard sounds much more tasteful Smile
