We're going this summer and I went a few years ago with my 18 month old son.

Goldstone model village is wonderful! It was a week ticket and we went at least twice during our week. 18 months was a great age to go there. My son loved exploring it.

There is also a farm.... something beginning with T that he liked as well. Some petting animals and outdoor and indoor play areas.

The zoo was fun as well. My son likes animals and that was a great place for him.

My son loves trains as well. We got the island line old tube train to a steam railway and did a journey on that. There was a small activity centre / museum at the end of the line that he liked too.

Godshill Model Village
Tapnell Farm
Isle of Wight Zoo / aka Wildheart Sanctuary

Also Owl & Monkey Haven
Amazon World
Robin Hill if you're feeling flush
Hunting for baby dragons (wild lizards) at Ventnor Botanic Gardens
Crabbing at Bembridge/Yarmouth

All things mine liked at that age

The Donkey Sanctuary near Wroxall is fantastic! They don't have an entrance fee, you just give a donation!

I’m here at the moment. Coming back today Sad
Tapnell Farm is great for toddlers.
Blackgang Chine is for everyone.
Amazon World Zoo. We got to pet and feed the wallabies.
Sandown beach is great for kids, it’s quite shallow.

Flip flops, sliders or jelly shoes for Sandown beach though as there are weaver fish Sad
