Upgrade University Diploma

I had to drop out of university ~ 20 years ago (long story) and was unable to continue at the time. I was awarded a diploma and have had a pretty good career since. I now have the spare time to try and earn extra credit hopefully towards a bachelors degree.

Has anyone done this with mostly home study or do you work in academia and have any recommendations as to how I might go about it?

Unlikely you'll get credit from a 20 year old qualification. Most institutions need the qualification to be less than 4 years old to consider topping it up.
