Hi I posted this thread in AIBU but thought I might get more response here! Sorry I seem to always do this Blush

I posted a few months ago about my doubts about applying for a masters in the UK and got some really helpful feedback smile I decided to apply and have been given an interview for one of my choices which I have to go to London for in 2 weeks-[confused eek!!

I thought I would post here to see if anyone has any wise advice on this type of interview. It's with the NHS Tavistock and Portman trust, the course is called Working with children, young people & families: a psychoanalytic observational approach. I wonder has anyone done a similar course that would have any experience of the nature of the interview? Or anyone with any experience of this trust maybe? I am nervous enough about the prospect of navigating London, never mind the interview itself blush

I would really appreciate if anyone could talk me down a bit!!!

Where do you live? Will you be returning there after your Masters? Is your proposed Masters a recognized qualification in your own country? What job/role are you looking at post-Masters?

Hi neotrad
I like in Spain, but am from Ireland (really outing myself if anyone knows me!). The masters is a prerequisite for getting on a training programme as a child/adolescent psychotherapist which would be my long term aim. I believe this would be recognised in Ireland although it's the likelihood of finding a job which might be an issue and does concern me somewhat!
