How do i get the fabric seat off of bouncy chair?

I am on the verge of cutting it with scissors because I just CANNOT figure out how to get the seat off to wash it! I've unclipped all the obvious parts but the shoulder straps are keeping the seat on the frame. There's a button on the slide of the clips that makes the hole where the straps go through the clips slightly bigger but the ends where the strap is folded over and sewn won't fit through still.

I attached a picture of the chair. Somebody help im about to throw the whole thing out the window!
