Work

First day back at work today after 10 months maternity! Bit odd.

Very bizarre feelings this am. Part of me was sad to wave off my littles bundles to MIL and part of me couldn't wait.

Great to be in the office wearing nice clothes though instead of scruffs. And adult conversation is good.

How long do you give me before I start moaning that I want to be a SAHM?

xx

Have you got twins?

I cried on my first day back at work, but that was because I had to leave ds at nursery. I've been back almost 8 months now and some days enjoy it, other days tolerate it and some days hate it. I think it depends how much sleep I've had.

hello oliveoil, lovely to "see" you!

I've been back at work since the end of Feb and still finding it a bit odd - coming back after DS3 has been even harder!

Hellooooooo!

No I do not have twins, good god, I can hardly manage with the one baby! I have an 8 month old and a 2.6 year old.

I am still doing 3 days, 9-4, but maybe will go down to 2, will see how things go.

Phoned dh at lunch and dd1 had a major tantrum so MIL will probably be grey by the end of this week.

I will be around more on mumsnet next week probably, need to settle back in before I start taking the piss .

I noticed that you hadn't posted much recently. One advantage of returning to work is it is so much easier to find time to mumsnet!

Must admit I have found it easier 2nd time around - but that's because baby ds is very chilled out about being left at Day Nursery whilst his older sister still cries and tantrums at being left and she is nearly 3 and has been attending for >2 yrs!
