Hi there,
Can anyone tell me how much a cleaner can get through in a couple of hours? I work full time and i'm on my own with twins. One of them has juvenile arthritis and i'm really struggling to keep on top of everything.
Thanks in advance

I work as a cleaner. Generally in a 2 hour clean I will do the following (in a 2/3 bedroomed house with family bathroom and en-suite).

Dust and polish throughout
Thorough clean of family bathroom, en-suite and kitchen
All rooms will be hoovered and all hard floorings will be mopped
All mirrors will be cleaned

Depending on size of house sometimes may also fit in, internal Windows.

Now sure if that's any help.

Just to add also empty all bins in that time plus do any washing up left.

I think it all depends on what you need though. I work for a big company and when we get a new customer we do an initial longer 'deep clean' which we then keep on top of.

So you may need that to begin with. So that all skirting boards, door frames and so on are clean. Then they just need dusting fort nightly for example.

I quite enjoy cleaning other people's houses. It's the little touches that I know the customers will appreciate. One of my favourite tasks if to leave the shower screen shiny and lovely.

And yes.. Maybe I am a bit sad for admitting that.

I would recommend that you phone a few domestic cleaning companies and compare what they have to offer.

I clean 2 x 3 bed lodges with 3 bathrooms in each plus living room, kitchen, etc in 2 hours.
This includes stripping and making beds, cleaning all bathrooms, dusting, hoovering, cleaning the kitchen.
But I clean when the guests have left.
