Not sure if this was the right place to put this!

I'm working as a lunchtime supervisor at a school. It's ok, but my forte (sp) has always been office/admin work. I've been toying with the idea of approaching the school office manager & just saying that if anything should come up in the office that I'd be interested. The only thing is trying to do this discreetly - as the two office ladies are nearly always in there! Do you think this is a good idea? I could just send her a copy of my CV with a letter but I think face to face is better.
