Interview for Lunchtime Supervisor

After 4 years of being a SAHM I'm making that first step out back into work (hopefully).

I have an interview for a lunchtime supervisor at my kids primary school next week and naturally feel nervous. The role isn't something I've done before, I used to do reception/admin work.

Can anyone give me any tips on questions I'm likey to be asked for the interview? Any advice would be much appreciated! ;)

I'm thinking smart black trousers, blouse and more than likely, due to weather a smartish black coat (+ scarf) will be fine for the interview?

Can't believe how nervous I am but excited too!

Clothes fine.

Questions likely to be scenarios - what would you do if... Stuff. They may ask about safeguarding or child protection - ie what should you do if you have reason to suspect a child is being abused: the answer is don't discuss with the child and refer the issue directly to the child protection officer at the school (usually the Head or a deputy) - if a child wants to tell you a secret you have to tell them you promise not to tell anyone unless the secret is about something you judge might put them at risk of harm, in which case you ave to tell someone.

Good luck.

Prepare for questions about diversity, disability, allergies - that sort of thing.
