Think I'll at least get an interview? It's something I really want to do and already do in a smaller capacity. It's for home care work. I already help my elderly neighbour. Only downside is I haven't worked since having dcs (13 years) But I did manage to contact my old boss and he's going to give me glowing reference Smile I worked for him for 13 years before dcs.

The pay isn't great but dp works permanent nights so I don't want to work mega hours. I know I won't see much of dp unless the shifts work out ok? I don't get much if any cash from exdh so need some cash for school dinners, bus fares, clothes etc... I already get this from dp but feel he shouldn't have to fork out so much for dcs that aren't his. I know he took them on when we moved in together but if I work I'll feel better.

I'm talking as if I have the job Wink The mum who told me about it already does it and loves it. She said they're taking people on now so here's hoping? And if the best that comes out of it is interview experience then that's something.

Best of luck. I think although you haven't done that type of work for a while, the fact you have recent experience in helping your neighbour must go a long way. And the glowing reference will definitely help. Believe in yourself and go for it! let us know how you get on.

Thanks csla Smile They say experience is desirable but they train you.
Now what to wear for the interview? Wink
