I had an angiogram They numb your groin and you are awake throughout the procedure It is painless although you can feel them guiding the wire When it gets close to the heart they said that I may experience a sensation of fluttering but I felt nothing The whole thing can be seen on a screen above your bed and you can watch it I did it passed the time It is really nothing to worry about I was petrified on the day but it really was fine At the end they press HARD! on the wound to stop bleeding and I think I had to lie still for about 6 hours afterward What are you having done Is it the balloon thing?

misdee you are probably right about the 2 hrs I can't remember but I think my transplant meds make me more likely to bleed so is longer in my case
