Non pregnant urine test -glucose present

Dh had his annual medical today and was slightly positive for glucose in his urine. Doc is doing a fasting blood test on him on Monday. I'm going out of my head worried that this means he has diabetes.

has anyone ever has a slight positive that didn't go on to be anything serious?

I'm worried sick since this would stop him flying. And on top of everything else he has had wrong with him I'm going off my head.

I had high levels in pregnancy but when I went for a diabetes test it was negative; does that help? I do hope so.

My lovely midwife told me firmly at the time that it was probably just a blip from that day's breakfast.

Fasting test laid me out, but then I'm hopeless at fasting.

Doc has told him it could be nothing. But 'nothing' with dh has so often turned out to be something serious I panic at the slightest thing.

Thanks for the positive reply it has helped a bit!

Sorry I'm such a wuss!
