I've had a efw stomach symptoms recently, but its kind of built up gradually so I can't really remember what a stomach should feel like and I'm not sure whether what I'm experiencing is normal mid thirties crapness or is Not Right and Needs Attention. If I list my symptoms, let me know what you think is wrong if anything.

Horrible churning and grumbling when in bed at night.
Grumbling high up in stomach near my ribs. Not sure how regularly I get this but its always in an evening.
Trapped wind under ribs that is painful, always in an evening, maybe once a fortnight or week.
General indegestion in an evening.
Indegestion if I bend down in an evening but not all the time.
Serious pain under right rib cage after curry on Saturday night, felt like really bad trapped wind, couldn't stand up straight and had to curl up with hot water bottle. Have had this before but can't remeber when or what I'd eaten, was def in an evening though.
Hiccups
Wind that takes a while to 'come down and out'

Typing this has made me realise that i maybe need to keep a food diary so that I know how often and when these things are happening.
Thanks for reading. Would love your opinions.

Could be gall stones, they get worse with eating fatty foods, the pain under your right ribs especially sounds familiar.

I'd make an appointment at your docs.

Hmm, I did wonder about that but I don't have pain the whole time, I would with gall stones wouldn't I? Also, I ate a big bag of Dorritoes and big bag of minstrels the other night and felt fine, could this be the case with gall stones?

I got this and it turned out to be a severe wheat allergy. Food diary and trip to GP in order.

Thanks. It may be significant that I usually eat a low fat diet with not much bread and for the last few weeks I've been eating any old thing . Its definitely been worse since eating any old thing!

No the pain comes and goes, to start with i could eat fatty things sometimes and not get the pains, eventually, where i am know, i can't without the pain being awful. I am waiting for my op.

Doritos aren't too high in fat though, although the minstrels aren't great.

Minstels were NICER than The Dorritoes! I really need to start eating low fat helathy diet again and see if that has any effect. Hope your op goes well.
