itchy dry nipples-does anyone else get this who is def not pregnant and is ther a cure?

hydrocortisone much not doing much

it's not all the time but when it hits it drives me mad

skin a bit flakey as well and I can't bear actually scratching right on the nips

am 47 ,had this when I was pregnant ,def not pregnant now

Are you menopausal? In any case el cheapo aqueous cream from the chemists should sort it. Hydrocortisone is bad for long term use as it thins the skin and actually makes it drier!

am 47 but still regular as clockwork so peri-menopausal as my mother went though menopause at 50ish I think

could that cause it?

Yes, unfortunately it can - dry skin is a big problem in the menopause apparently (being a young flighty sort I have no personal experience but I'm told this is the case.)

Buy Primrose Oil and open the capsules and rub the liquid on them, my friend swears by this.

The skin is thinner on your nips and your labia. Be grateful you have the 'upstairs' version

Seriously you could have thrush you know.

I didnt either and a mate gave me a 2 week deadline before sh ewanted me to go to Dr.

the thrush cream did it
