I've cricked my neck now how do I uncrick it <growl>?

Did it yesterday morning picking up my heavy bag. I normally bend down (with knees) to pick up heavy things but forgot, leant forward, picked it up with my left arm only and threw it over my shoulder as if it was light.

Have cricked something in the left side of my neck now .

Will it just go away?

Might just go away.. might get worse as the rest of you will seize up.

Apart from rest, I would go and see a chiropractor if you can.

Don't bother with a doctor. Oh and take ibuprofen.

oh no. What a nightmare grrr. Won't help that there's a tube strike tomorrow/next day either so will mean space on the train is at a premium and will be squashed no doubt.

I feel like a robot as can only turn my head to the right!

Try some Syndol as well, it has a muscle relaxant in it.

i did this the other day amazingly painful.

Take ibuprofen, and get a hotwater bottle on your neck an also spray deep freeze or deep heat on there.

will be gone in about 3 days

yeah i do sympathize, i went the docs and got those big pink strong ibuprofen things. it bloody REALLY hurt though
