After i had Levonorgestrelds2 19 weeks ago i was put on Norgeston/Levonorgestrel. I was on cerazette before getting pg but got spots so didnt want to go on it again. I cant go on the combined pill due to migraines. Just want to know if anyone else suffers from spots/lack of libido??

i have been, and like you get migraines so cant have combined pill. My experience of combined pill is that it makes me so 'hormonal'. I felt on the brink of tears all the time, and it was hard to cope. (I was on cerazette)

Never knew if it was the pop all bost pirth anxiety, but as soon as i stopped there was a difference. I did go back to it later (i think norgeston this time) and after two weeks again felt awful so ditched them.

Though everyone is different, and people react differently

i cant decide wether or not to stick with it? Ive been on it 3 months now and have been bleeding all over the place. gp said give it 3 monts. WIll be going to gp next week but there arent any other pills for me. The injection apparantly wont suit me (migraines) and the implant (which i wanted after having ds2) apparantly spots is big side effect so they decided i shouldnt have that either. REALLY dont want to have coil fitted as have heard soooo many negatives of it and with ds2 being poorley and life being a struggle i dont want extra hassles?

i was really scared of using the coil too, but it turned out being the easist of them all! I was so so happy not having hormones, and my body just 'being me'. And you dont ever need to remember to take your pills - such a relief. I settled down really quickly with the coil though, so perhaps i was lucky. My periods were heavier but shorter so didnt bother me too much. I would really recommend it! Was even easy to check the threads though i was so squeamish of the idea beforehand.

There was a slight problem, i did get anemic, which the doctor related to my heavy period. Only realized once it was taken out! I am pregnant now so no worries about contraception lol. Though i did tell my gp i have now run out of options. He is pushing the mirena coil but given my reaction on the pop i really dont think it is for me. Will worry about it when i need to though. Despite my problems i would still recommend trying the coil. It really wasnt a big a deal as i imagined.

I am now on Norgeston( as unfortunately Noriday was out of stock) the side effects are dreafdul, mainly anxiety and depression, weight gain, it doesn't work for me at all, not hte same as Noriday as they said, this one has levornogestrel, completely different to norethisterone!!!!....the good news is the pharmacy rang me up as Noriday will be back in stock.
