Don't think there are any hard and fast rules. ds didn't egt side effects iehter time, dd was unwell with the first but not second. Your dd could get them now.

Hi there - we're due to get our booster this afternoon (postponed due to the dreaded ear infection!) , so will post and let you know if there are any side effects. Hope not, as little one has had more than her share of feeling poorly recently.

DS1 had no reaction to his at all (he had it when he was nearly five).

Ds1 had no side effects with the first MMR. With the booster he was quiet and had a little bit of a temperature but it was nothing worrying tbh.

Aimsmum - ears seem to be fine now, thanks for asking. It's so good to see dd with pink cheeks again, and feeling lively. Hope everything is OK with yours too?

Aimsmum - sorry to be slow in replying, but I haven't been online much since yesterday.

Everything went fine. I do hate taking dd for injections, because of course, she cries. But, it was over quickly, and she was happy a few minutes later with the chocolate biscuits I took with me as a special treat.

She's got plasters on each arm, and they're a bit sore - even today. One arm even has some pink blotches. But, her energy level has been fantastic - we spent all day today at the zoo, and she was fine.

So, if our experience is anything to go by, your dd will be fine after on Monday too. Good luck. Let us know how you get on.
