Lump on my vulva -what is it?

I found a lump on my vulva today. It's not massive, but much bigger than a spot, and is quite sore. It wasn't there this morning I don't think, so came up in the two hours I was out. I squeezed it (disgusting I know, but I couldn't help it) and quite a bit of pus (I think?) came out, but it's still there and still sore. What is it? Sorry for disgusting thread btw.

It is a Bartholin's Cyst - the Bartholin glands on either side of your vulva are there to provide essential lubrication for the labia. If one gets blocked up - OUCH.
I'd avoid squeezing it again!
They do clear up on their own and they are not serious.

I have had these before, if you get in a hot bath they sometimes (sorry this is gross) kind of burst and empty themselves or they just clear up by themselves like a spot would.

i had one of these , got worse cos i squeezed it , kept having hot salty baths every night and this seemed to work took quite a while to go , try not to squeeze .

I thought it was just a spot too Fio but it's massive compared to a spot.

I have had 2 of these.
First one the doctor told me it was the Bartholin's gland thing and gave me some antibiotics. I went away then.
Second was a bit different and in a different place (a bit nearer the front!). As I touched it, it burst and pus and blood came out (sorry about that!). It was more like an enormous spot than the first one. Once all the "stuff" had come out of it, it cleared up in a couple of days.
