should it hurt when my dd(4) sits on my lap?

Over the last year or so I seem to have become really sensitive to any pressure on my muscles. dd1 is 4 tomorrow and when she climbs on my lap it is agony and I have to get her to get off. If she moves and her leg or elbow goes into my stomach or something again it really hurts. She is quite heavy (18kg) but I just can't believe how sensitive my body seems to be, it feels achey all of the time as if i've just been for a run. No idea if it's normal and feel a prat going to the doctor to say it hurts when my child climbs on me!

my friend had this and she had a hernia.

Worth going to get it checked out.

wow, never considered anything like this. The thing is it isn 't just my lap- if she leans on my thigh or rests a hand on my arm it hurts. I feel so bad because I have to keep getting her to move away from me which upsets me as for some reason my other dd who is admittedly half the size does not cause the same sort of pain.
