Sounds like an aniti biotic job to me.

Given his back ground Misdee, it's worth just staying on top of this stuff, IMO.

exactly.

it doesnt look to me like a normal ulcer.

Yes, sounds like he needs AB's.

Can you explain how upsetting it is for you, and (possibly) scarry? I think you have been through enough lately and don't need any more stress, eh!

hugs anyway

He needs A-B's imo

I often get ulcers which need A-B's and my immune system is supposedly fine

he has been given augmentin.

Tell him to monitor his lymph glands - I often get a secondary infection - esp if there is a delay in getting a-b's

Men! Why are they so pig-headed? I could tell you a very long saga involving DH, a railway sleeper dropped on his foot and an infection that almost had him hospitalised through his stubbornness in not getting it checked out. Glad Peter went in the end and hope it's nothing too serious.

he says its got bigger overnight but GP said that may happen to start wih. hopefully it will start to go down soon.

what do i do with the teatree noddy?

it is a natural antiseptic and antibiotic. If you put a drop on a cotton bud and touch the ulcer am and pm it should go.I also have found that I have far fewer infections if i put a couple of drops in my bath every night.\\hth

Yes, both dp and her Dad swear by Teatree and dab it on all cuts, grazes, ulcers etc.
