Heart appointment or eye appointment or both?

My elderly mother (over 90) has appointments at two London hospitals in the next week. One is a heart appointment, the other an eye appointment. The eye appointment is important because if she does not get her regular injection, she will lose her sight. The heart appointment is a check-up; she was given medication at the last appointment to take if she gets pain. She had one episode of pain in the past week, but took the medication and felt better. In the current circumstances, I feel nervous about her going to either appointment? Which should she go to--or both?

I imagine the heart one will be changed to a telephone consultation if it’s just a follow up.

If they are still seeing patients in the eye clinic then she should still go for her injection.

That was my gut feeling. Thank you, @Unravellingslowly.

Both are important, I'd call and see if one can be changed. I know ophthalmology are very quiet at the moment, so you may be able to re-schedule and a few days will make no difference to the efficacy of the VEG-F.

It's not the fact that both are in the same week, it's trying to reduce her exposure to other people.
