Hi everyone,
I hit the top of my head hard on my shower handle in the bathroom on Tuesday, it hasn't bruised and no bump from what I can feel but I'm just so worried, I suffer with anxiety anyway and can't stop panicking, I didn't pass out or bleed and I've spoke to my GP on the Wednesday who asked me some diagnostic questions and said not to worry but everyday I seem to be worrying more and more doesn't help that I'm literally sitting thinking of nothing else so have myself thinking I have all these scary symptoms, I'm also 38 weeks pregnant and don't want to be so anxious when I'm going to be having my baby soon, just can't stop worrying! Has anyone else had a clumsy head hitting moments?

There's nothing wrong with your head so you don't need people telling you head hitting tales,

Try and deal with the anxiety as that's the issue here

Don't worry OP. Try and relax and enjoy your pregnancy (easier said than done).
I've hit my heart bad on three occasions.

  1. A bar on a ride cam crashing down and it gave me concussion. That was horrible.
  2. I fell over and smashed my face in and hit my head at the same time.
  3. Putting a towel over my wet hair and head butted the sink 🙃.

You'll be fine OP. A hit to the head is scary!

Heart? Definitely meant head

I agree with felicity asking for other people's tales is not going to do anything to help your anxiety. That's the issue here, not the head bump. I speak as one who knows.

I had huge anxiety after hitting my head last time. So much so I ended up in A&E! There was absolutely nothing wrong with me though and I hit it pretty hard on a sharp corner of a low ceiling. The consultant was super reassuring and explained that it's extremely rare to see any complications from a bang to the head in this manner, please please try not to worry.
