Internal piles?

I am in agony with what I suspect might be internal piles. Back in February I thought I had an anal fissure as I had pain passing stools and blood. After a few weeks it righted itself and pain and bloody went away.

But in the last month the pain has come back when passing stools and it’s horrendous. There’s no blood at all, but the agony of going to the toilet is off the chart. I’ve looked down there with a mirror and I can’t see anything. I can see almost some bruising but nothings there.

I’ve been trying Anusol, tried stool softeners and nothing is making it any better.

I don’t want to bother doctor right now but will if I have to, but does anyone have any suggestions to relieve the pain or what it might be? The lack of blood is weird and I’m worried it’s something worse.

You need the Germoloids Suppositories, they work wonders.

I just moved and unfortunately didn’t register with my doctor in time so will be a nightmare to get an appointment.

I don’t think I’ve got an abscess, there’s nothing protruding or anything I can feel- it just really really hurts!

I'm going through the same, just used up anusol suppositories alongside the cream and it didn't help. I went back to pharmacy this afternoon and they said they wouldn't recommend using a different brand until I see a doctor. I only bled once last week but the itch and burn after a poo and after is so uncomfortable I struggle to focus on work. Can people please let me know whether they ever moved onto a different solution after using anusol triple action? Which brand is the best and how long did it take to notice relief? I wake up feeling pretty ok but the sensations start to creep up during the day. I did increase fibre and water intake and take relaxing baths after work. Anything else I should be doing? @Palmtree76 how long did you suffer in the end? thank you all!

Place marking... I get so itchy/burny. Anusol seems to help but it comes back. I don't know if I have piles - nothing visible, no bleeding.
I read itching can be made worse by citrus fruit - I love oranges and eat one a day. Should I renounce them?
How common is this? No one talks about it!!
