Can kids get slap cheek more than once?

Dear All,
my daughter, now 4 seems to have all the slapcheek symptoms, trouble is she also seemed to have it when she was about 2 ( when I was 9 weeks pregnant with my son, resulting in a fair amount of stress at the time, but all was well)...I know that if you've had it as a kid you're meant to be immune as an adult, but does that mean you can't get it twice as a kid?
She had bright red cheeks at daycare last friday, and has had an itchy rash that gets worse after the bath, but is OK with antihistermines ( we thought she was allergic to something).
It just seems too slap cheek not to be!?
Anyone with anything similar?

My dd and ds seem to have had it twice each. Ds then went on later to have something called 5th disease which also looked like slapped cheek. Hope they are done with it all now!

Could be, I had a diagnosis for that from a German doctor and that's how it translated! It looked like slapped cheek but he had it all over his arms too. The first two times he just had really bright red cheeks but no rash on body. Dd had it too - really bright and hot cheeks. The doctor diagnosed it as scarlet fever and gave her antibiotics but she was wrong because the rash on her cheeks stayed long after the antibiotics.

yeah both mine had it a while ago, my son had it the worst though, he had bright rosey red cheeks then came out in a lacey rash over his arms that got worse when he had been hot, eg after being in the bath or running round or upset etc etc, i think i got a form of it aswell coz i was in agony with awful leg pains for 2 days, and when i read it up on the net it said that the adult foprm of fith desease presents as joint pain
