I'm looking for advice, on each of my hips just below the skin I have a lump, it cant be seen, you have to feel for it, however when you find them they are painful to move over. I'm not sure if this is normal or not and am worried about it. Could I have some advice please.

Where abouts on the hip? Are both lumps in the exact same place on each hip?

If they’re both the same on both sides I’d be inclined to say that it’s just the way your body is and not because of an illness

But as always, if you’re concerned, definitely go to the GP

If they're in the same place, and are the same size, on both sides of your body, the chances of that being cancer are all but zero.

It will be a body part you may not know about.

I recall doing an MRI on a frantic patient (abroad, lower standards) for lumps she'd found low down either side of her neck. She'd deliberately lost loads of weight, and had rediscovered her collar bones....
