I do exactly this. Have no idea why - would be interested to hear whether anyone has an explanation. If I look down in the bath and realise that I'm covered in small bruises, I know I must be due. Well, that and the spots on my chin.

i get a spot on my forehead same place each month.
I just get PMT

TaLcYsPeArS Sun 19-Aug-07 14:14:42

...yes and extreme sleepiness.
Not forgetting the need to snack on all things chocolate and the propensity for being a bitch outa hell.

Or is that just me?

policywonk Sun 19-Aug-07 14:16:49

I get all of yours, Talcy. Plus weepiness.

TheMuppetMuggle Sun 19-Aug-07 14:17:29

Sleepy yes, but no to choc

jaynehater Sun 19-Aug-07 14:18:32

Oooh, ooh ooh I know this one. Or at least, I received a fairly reasonable explanation.

When I was preggers, both times, I got a monster dose of the 'dropsies'.

I whinged about it to HV, and she held forth the following theory:

When you are pregnant, and at some times during your cycle, you can retain water. This can cause milimetre-fine expansion/contraction body-wide, and your brain, when making you pick up a cup, etc,is working with very fine tolerances, so the water-bloat can make you react a millimetre late, so to speak.

Did that sound rational? Not sure, but I've blamed every smashed glass since then on "medical grounds outwith my control".

In reality, it's probably because I'm sloppy

jaynehater Sun 19-Aug-07 14:20:02

I get spots too!! One on the side of my nose, one on my chin. You'd think they'd have the decency to leave behind enough scar tissue to prevent re-occurence, but no...

My hair always feels greasier, too. May be my imagination, though.

TaLcYsPeArS Sun 19-Aug-07 14:21:36

....i like thae jh...makes sense...i reached for the car door handle 3 times the other day and when you have too much too drink and your elbow keeps slipping off edge of table

or is that just me?

jaynehater Sun 19-Aug-07 14:25:58

<tolerant condescending pats for talcy and her differently abled car-opening tendencies>

jaynehater Sun 19-Aug-07 14:26:33

It's not just you...

I just do it with the kitchen cupboards, is all.

TaLcYsPeArS Sun 19-Aug-07 14:30:49

My driving is horrendous during at TOTM. I do stupid things like try to take off up a hill in 2nd gear and don't seem to see other vehicles - have had a few near misses. I actually scraped my car along the bumper of a volvo a few months ago - his was fine, my whole wing was dented beyond recognition. The rest of the time I'm a pretty good driver...
