I feel like I’ve been through the mill in the last week:
Last Monday night I was woken up by horrible cramping pain in my upper central stomach. It passed after a few hours.
Then had lower stomach/pelvic discomfort and gp tested my urine and said I had a bit of infection. Prescribed 3 days of antibiotics.
Feeling pretty lacklustre, couldn’t concentrate, tried to work but didn’t really work!
Feeing slightly better on the weekend but still felt v low in energy. Then had the same awful cramping feeing that I had on Monday night, but much lower down, followed by horrible diarrhoea for much of the night.
That seems to have stopped but I’m left with a very weird sharp pain when I eat. Had some toast and honey yesterday and it felt like I imagine little squirts of acid/something corrosive would feel. Only lasts a second or two, but it keeps happening. It’s on the left hand side, higher up, in exactly the same place each time. It’s happening as I’m starting to eat - and during and after - so presumably too soon for digestion.
Does anyone have any bright ideas about what this might be? Thanks
