Incidentaloma - pituitary

Just had an MRI to establish whether a problem with blood vessels was causing my pulsatile tinnitus . There was no problem with blood vessels but an incidental finding of a 6mm benign lesion has been found on my pituitary ! I don't think I'm having pituitary symptoms but as an extremely health anxious person am now very worked up and interpreting everything as a sign of pituitary problems . Googling reveals this is quite a common finding - anyone had the same happen and have some positive outcomes for me ?

Hi,
I also had a brain MRI nearly 4 years ago after suffering with optical neuritis. They found what they called a microincedemia on my pituitary gland (I think it was about 5mm). I had various hormone checks that came back fine, and since then I've had 2 other MRIs as check ups and it has never changed. They said lots of people probably have things like this but as they don't do anything you wouldn't know unless you need an MRI for some thing else. So nothing to worry about unless you develop symptoms. Hope that helped
