I know your not doctors but I want to make sure I’m not just asking for a doctors appointment for nothing (it’s really hard to get a doctors appointment here)

Last Wednesday night I had a sudden urge to go to the toilet and actually on the way never did make it 🙈 lucky I live on my own but was highly embarrassed.
The next morning I found my side (back/side) area was very sore and it hurt to walk. I did keep going to the loo but knew I didn’t need too...I work in a school and in a class where you can’t get time out. I dosed myself up on paracetamol & ibuprofen. With the distraction of the class itself (very high demand) I got through the day and went home and rested all night.
The next day I still had the pain and did the same thing, I could move better but every time I went to the loo I felt my bladder would open and then wouldn’t close when I had finished.
Saturday I dosed up again and the feeling of my bladder was stronger again, I could sit on the sofa and have that feeling of needing the loo and yet I had just been (doesn’t hurt to go). Sunday I’ve gotten up and the pain is now on the other side still with my bladder feeling like it’s full and wants to be open all the time...
I’m going to make a dr appointment for Wednesday as it’s my day off and it doesn’t interfere with work which is important...but does this sound like a Kidney infection?
I seem to not have much appetite and feeling very tired and sick...my pain threshold levels are high but the pain I have in my back and sides is actually doing my head in....I just need to wait to Wednesday....

Sounds very much like one, you need to be seen before Wednesday with an infection.

Don't wait until Wednesday! Kidney infections can turn nasty very quickly -you need some antibiotics.
