I get thrush once a month, UTIs 3x per year or more & now horrific herpes outbreaks on thigh (have had herpes outbreaks for years but only every couple of years & on bum not thigh). Any ideas what might be underlying cause?

Try reading this. It might give you some answers. Also what type of contraception are you using and is there a link between the time you get thrush every month and your period? It could all be hormonal. I have started getting thrush every month before and during my period and have been told im perimenopausal so looks like its a reaction to my lovely hormone levels. Its such a misery every month. Thought i also had herpes outbreaks with it but got checked and it turns out really bad thrush can give you ulcer like spots and bumps so i literally feel your pain. Thanks for this. I think there are things I should/shouldn't be eating but it's hard to work out what. And requires organisation! Thanks

Have you also thought about trying something like this? It seems to get great reviews. There are quite a few on the market. Might be worth a try. X
