Tingling and numbness

I've had a numb patch on my right foot and tingling feeling all in my foot and up my leg for a month or so now. And now it's travelled into my arm and hands, my arm is weak and shake when I pick things up. It's constantly there and gets worse if I have a day out and be more active. I've been doctors , had a blood test they've come back all normal. Now I'm awaiting for an mri scan. Has anybody else had this feeling and what could it be?

I get this with migraines. I go completely paralised down one side at worse. Localised numb patches at best.

Fingers crossed for you. Good luck.

I guess you are worried about MS. It could be many things so try not to worry. When is your MRI?

I don't get migraines. They've gave me amitrypline 4 times a night for the tingling. Yes they have mentioned MS. But also saying it might be a trapped nerve? I don't no when the mri is. I went the doctors on the 23rd and they said after my blood test came back then they would book mri, I rang on the Tuesday and it was still on the computer to be done. I have got a appointment to see a specialist in December. I struggle to sleep as it gets worse when I lie down in any position. And it's sharp pains and achy and heavy feelI gotta

I went through this before they diagnosed migraines. (No headache with it!) I kept tripping over too. They did nerve tests, vestibular tests, mri scans etc also. I imagine you will be offered the same? I too worried about MS. Hard as it is. It could be so many differant things. Try not to worry Flowers

I get this intermittently in varying places. I was diagnosed with MS 20 years ago and have never been prescribed any drugs for it. I just wanted to say that an MS diagnosis isn't necessarily the end of the world as it's unique to each person
