Hi there, I'm not sure if I'm in the correct thread regarding this topic but I'm wondering if anyone had their breast implants removed in Ireland. I got mine 11 years ago and generally overall Ive had no problems with them. But I'm now 42 and want to get them removed and not replaced. I've had 2 mammogram s and all seems fine but lately I've been getting tenderness and slight soreness which is of course making me feel anxious. I work out a few times a week and I've noticed that sometimes after working out my breasts feel a bit sore. I had mine done with Advanced Cosmetics in Galway who of course have long gone. I don't know where to go now or what's the next step I can take. Any advice much appreciated.

Hey, I had my implants removed but in London. Best decision I’ve made. Had mine 7yrs in total. I also had “en bloc” so I had the capsule removed from around the implant too. I had mine removed due to health reasons (I thought I had breast implant illness). I must say I have felt much better since having them removed. Hope all goes well for you

Thank you Missdemix for your reply. Did it take you long to recover from the surgery and did you have drains in after? And was it expensive to have them removed. Sorry for all the questions!! Glad to hear that all went well for you.
