ds 14 months has 'peeling' nails

His nails are really soft and 'peel' off in layers - thats only way I can describe it, could it be dietary? I think he has a variety diet, plenty of calcium but they don't seem right, not a big issue I know, just curious...

My 2 DS are like this, my dd is too, but not as bad as they are...weird! They all have a good varied diet so not got a clue what causes it.
